Cookies & local storage
PadelSmash is deliberately light on browser storage. Everything we store today is strictly necessary to sign you in and keep the app working, so no consent banner is required.

1.What we store
- Authentication session — a token stored in your browser's local storage by our authentication provider so you stay signed in between visits. Cleared when you sign out.
- Invite code — if you arrive through a friend's invite link, the code is kept locally until your first sign-in so the referral can be attributed, then removed.
- Interface preferences — small values such as the last filter you used, stored locally on your device.
- Security and load-balancing cookies set by our hosting provider for the duration of a request or session.
2.What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party social tracking pixels.
- No cross-site profiling, and no sale of behavioural data.
Because we only use strictly necessary storage, ePrivacy rules do not require a consent prompt. If we later introduce analytics or any non-essential cookie, we will add a proper consent tool with granular choices, and nothing non-essential will run before you agree.
3.Managing storage
- Signing out of PadelSmash removes the session token.
- Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes everything we store locally.
- Blocking all storage will prevent sign-in, because the session cannot be kept.
4.Third-party pages
Links to a club, a booking service such as Playtomic, or a payment provider's checkout page take you to a different operator with its own cookie policy. Please read theirs when you get there.
